Trio of javelina found on 4th floor of Fountain Hills building

FOUNTAIN HILLS, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A trio of javelina were found on the fourth floor of a building under construction in Fountain Hills.

According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, the javelinas let themselves into the building and made their way up to the fourth floor before being found.

The safety supervisor of the construction project called game and fish and officials responded to the scene and tranquilized the javelina.

Officials say the javelina were safely transported to the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center where they will recover before being reintroduced into the wild.
