3-year-old ejected from car following serious crash

- A serious crash in Phoenix Wednesday results in a 3-year-old being ejected from a vehicle.

According to Captain Jake Van Hook, firefighters are in the area of 7th Avenue and Bell Road. The crash, according to a later news release issued by Phoenix Fire, involved a large SUV and a smaller SUV. The large SUV reportedly rolled over multiple times.

Fire officials said a man and woman in the large SUV are in stable condition, while a 3-year-old boy was ejected from the vehicle. He was listed in extremely critical buy stable condition. A 2-year-old girl, who was found on the car's floorboard, was also listed in extremely critical but stable condition. A 2-month-old girl inside the large SUV was listed in critical but stable condition.

According to Sgt. Vince Lewis with Phoenix police, at least one of the children involved in the crash was not properly restrained in booster seat.

Meanwhile, an adult man and an adult woman from the smaller SUV were taken to trauma centers in stable condition.
