Two injured in Cesar Chavez park stabbing

- Phoenix Fire officials say they are treating two people stabbed in a park near Cesar Chavez HS.

Phoenix Police say an altercation happened around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the library near the park. One of the victims went towards the school where they were trying to reach a police officer at the high school.

Authorities say the two victims one 17-year-old and one 18-year-old were taken to a valley trauma center for further care. One victim has serious life threatening injuries and the other has non life threatening injuries.

Phoenix Police say they are looking for the suspect last seen driving a white Tahoe. Two people have been detained and are being questioned.
