2 men found shot dead at Phoenix salvage yard; suspect arrested

A gruesome discovery was made at a Phoenix auto salvage yard Monday. as two men were found, shot dead.

According to a statement by Phoenix police, they were called to the 3100 block of W. Broadway Road at around 10:35 a.m., on a report of shots fired. Witnesses in the area, according to police, called police after hearing gunfire coming from an area business.

Phoenix police say the two victims are a 30-year-old man and a 47-year-old man. Police did not identify the two.

On Monday night, police said the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Manuel Orejel, was arrested. Phoenix police said as officers were investigating, an adult man called police from Glendale, and told police about his involvement in the incident. According to detectives, the suspects and the victims knew each other, an the incident was the result of an ongoing dispute.

Orejel, according to Phoenix police, was booked into jail, accused of two counts of first-degree murder.
