Driver dies in serious two-car crash

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - One person has died and another is seriously injured after a two-car crash near 51st Avenue and Osborn on Friday.

Phoenix police tell Fox 10 that the driver of a station wagon involved in the crash has died after being extricated from the station wagon and transported to a local hospital. Three people that were riding in a pickup truck that was involved in the crash were not hurt.

After being closed for several hours, Loop 303 between El Mirage Road and Happy Valley Parkway has re-opened.
