Two puppies rescued, after they were wedged between two walls

A pair of puppies in Phoenix found themselves in a very tight spot.

Somehow, they managed to wedge themselves in between two concrete walls, meaning they got themselves stuck.

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, however, came to the rescue.

It wasn't easy, but the officer was eventually able to free the two, and brought them back to the shelter.

"Started using the chicken to see if she can lure one or both of them out from that tight space," said Jose Santiago. "One of them did start inching its way towards her, and got loose enough that she was able to put a leash on it and pull it out."

Both puppies are female Australian Cattle dogs. One is 10 months old, and the other is a year old. Both are set to go up for adoption on Friday.
