Unidentified body found in a burned Phoenix apartment

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Reports say a body was found in a burned apartment at a complex near 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

At about 2 a.m. on Saturday morning, Phoenix Fire department was called to the Renaissance Apartment Complex for an apartment fire.

One male is deceased, neighbors were told he was burned beyond recognition, they described him as a white male in his thirties.

Neighbors say it was very concerning to wake up to a scene like that.

Police tell neighbors they are considering this a suspicious death.
