US Airways stabbing case: victim's family outraged

A family is outraged and calling for justice after the person who stabbed their loved one will not face charges in the death.

You might remember the stabbing inside the US Airweays flight training center that killed Eric Kunins, a young simulator technician.

His family's attorney is now speaking out.

Police say it started as an argument between Eric Kunins and George Hayes over replacing bulbs on a screen, but it blew up into a physical fight. When it was over 34-year-old Kunins was dead with a stab wound. The other man involved is not facing any charges in the death.

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery indicated that no murder charges will likely be filed against the man who allegedly stabbed Kunins.

"When you look at the incident in which witnesses are few, and self defense is a possibility, state law in Arizona requires prosecutors to look very carefully to see if we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that self defense was not a legitimate factor in the particular incident," said Bill Montgomery.

Kunins family says they're not going to stop the fight for justice.
