Valley bus crash topples light pole

Early Sunday morning, Phoenix police responded to a collision on Roosevelt and 16th Street involving a bus, a sedan and a light pole.

After an initial investigation, police determined a sedan was traveling northbound on 16th Street and disregarded the traffic signal. That's when the car crashed into a city bus that was traveling westbound on Roosevelt.

As a result, the bus drove off the road and struck a light pole, causing it to topple over.

Thankfully no injuries have been reported, and impairment is not considered to be a factor at this time.
