Valley couple credits Peoria police officers for replacing stolen baby gifts

- A young couple with a baby on the way and living in a one-bedroom apartment were emotional when they realized all of their unborn child's gifts were stolen from a storage unit.

"This was right after Christmas, so all of the things that my boyfriend's parents got us was stolen and some of my personal baby items were stolen as well," Hannah said.

"It was overwhelming," Micheal Millage said. "I was at a loss for words. At that point, I didn't know what to do."

Fortunately, the couple was able to get back everything they lost and more, thanks to a couple of heroes, Officers Piatt and Ares of the Peoria Police Department.

Hannah is now 37-weeks pregnant and due for a baby boy any day now. The couple says because of these officers, the arrival of their first born couldn't be any sweeter.
