Valley family receives home makeover

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - After suffering several devastating losses, the family was given a special surprise, a home makeover in time for the holidays.

"She just does anything to help everybody, and they're just a giving family, and I think that they honestly deserve it," said Alex Powers.

"There're a lot of angles with this family, and they're so sweet, kind, and appreciative, it just made a lot of sense once we met them," said Andy Griffin.

"That one didn't stop me to help people," said Mariana Ramirez.

"My son told me those are my shoes, and I told him you have more at home, so don't worry about that one," she said.

The renovation work should be done in time before Thanksgiving.
