Jerry Brown from Saint Mary's Food Bank says, "We are about 9,000 turkeys short at the beginning of month. We are down to 3200 turkeys that we need and we are hoping at our drive that we will carve into that total as much as possible and get the turkeys we need for our big distribution next week."

Brown says every year the need seems to grow. They are expecting more than 10,000 cars on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. so the need is very high. there is Brown says, "A lot of folks out there need to have that turkey dinner. So we are hoping to fill this mobile mini van behind us with food."

Brown says their volunteers will be out 13 different Albertson's locations and at the St. Mary's Food Bank on Saturday in Phoenix and Surprise from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to collect those donations.
