Valley youth football team needs help getting to national championsip

A valley team is celebrating some football glory…and we’re not talking about the Cardinals.
We are talking about the Deer Valley Snakes.
They're on their way to the Pop Warner National Championship in Florida, but they need a little help to get there.
Parents and players began fundraising efforts this weekend to raise enough money to get to Orlando for the tournament at Walt Disney World.
At nearly $2,000 per player, this team has quite a bit of money to raise.
We caught up with the boys at a yard sell today in Surprise.
There's no doubt this is one hard-working group of 10, 11 and 12-years-olds.
"We have a special team,” said Rick Sharp, the coach of the Deer Valley Snakes. “All of our kids, they kind of pull their own weight. We don't have the crazy, super stars, we just have a bunch of good athletes that work their tails off..."
