Wet weather continues for the valley

The valley has been getting hit by storms off and on for almost a week now.
On Wednesday, Wickenberg washes were seen running near 14th Street and Circle Mountain.
Heavy rain and hail were seen in Anthem, El Mirage, and New River.
Washes began to overflow in New River and at least one driver got stuck, needing to be rescued by firefighters.
SkyFox video shows rescuers saving the man from the running water. He is fine, but was cited for Arizona's stupid motorist law by MCSO deputies.
"When you see a sign that says road closed, don't go down it," said the driver, who was not identified.
Under the stupid motorist law, if someone has to be rescued they have to pay for their rescue.
