GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10/AP) - A woman accused of using a stolen car to run over and kill a Las Vegas nail salon worker after failing to pay a $35 bill for a manicure has been arrested in Arizona.

Police say Whipple got a manicure on December 29, 2018 at a salon about a mile and a half from the Las Vegas Strip, but her credit card was declined when she went to pay.
Whipple then went to her car, telling salon workers she would come back to pay another way but then tried to drive away, according to police Lt. Ray Spencer.
The manicurist ran in front of the car to try to stop Whipple from driving off but was hit by the vehicle, police said. Whipple drove away, and the manicurist was taken to a hospital, where she died.
Police say the car was rental and had been stolen weeks ago. It was later found abandoned at a nearby apartment complex.
