Accused stalker speaks out from Arizona jail about 65,000 text messages, death threats

A woman who police say stalked a man she had gone on one date has been arrested. Court documents show she claimed to be the mans wife at his work place, showed up at his house, broke in and took a bath, and sent thousands of text messages to him.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Jacqueline Ades, who was arrested on charges of threatening, stalking and harassing the man, spoke out in an interview from jail on Thursday.

Ades often times went off, and wasn't making much sense, but did mention that she loves the victim, and would not hurt him. When asked about the 65,000 text messages police say she sent, Ades said she thought she sent more than that.

"I wound up here on a road trip from Florida, looking for, I guess, love," said Ades. She went on to say that she met the victim online last summer, on a site called "Luxy".

"We met up online," said Ades. "I was looking for my healing angel, the psychic I met told me I would meet a healing angel."

According to court paperwork, the two only went on one date. Since that time, the man has reported her outside his home, and for threatening text messages. Police also say Ades sent 65,000 text messages to the victim. That's about 500 a day. Many of those messages including death threats.

"I told him if he ever blocked me on WhatsApp that I would come and move here," said Ades. "So he blocked me, so I came here."

During the sometimes incoherent interview, however, Ades said she would never hurt the victim.

"No. Oh my god no. I love him so much," said Ades. "I just want to love him so much, that's it. And if he doesn't like it, then I will go home and love my ex-boyfriend. What am I supposed to do?"

Last month, the victim spotted her while remotely checking his home surveillance video. He called police and when they arrived, they found her taking a bath. Officers also found a large butcher knife on the passenger seat of her vehicle.

"I never had a butcher knife," said Ades. "I had flippy knives on my road trips. People try to hurt me. I'm a single girl, I drove across America, but I don't carry a butcher knife."

Ades is being held without bond, and if she was released, Ades said she would leave him alone, and go back to Florida.
