Police: Woman, suspect remain missing following deadly shooting

Police are frantically trying to find a missing woman and shooting suspect following a homicide that occurred Saturday afternoon.
Phoenix police say shots rang out at an apartment complex near 12th Street and Indian School just before 3 p.m.
When police arrived, they found a man in critical condition from gunshot wounds.
Police now say that victim is believed to be the boyfriend of the missing woman, 20-year-old Veronica Huerta. Richard Paz Garcia has been identified by detectives as the suspect in the shooting.
Paz Garcia is believed to be driving a white, 2004 Dodge Stratus with an Arizona license plate BDB7973.
During their initial investigation, Huerta and her 1-year-old son were missing after police determined they left the scene with the suspect, Richard Paz Garcia. On Sunday, police announced that the child had been located safe, but that the woman remains missing and detectives are concerned for her welfare.
Huerta remains missing and is considered an endangered adult and Paz Garcia is considered to be armed and dangerous.
