Woman dies in apartment without A/C

A death investigation in Tempe after police find a woman's body in a sweltering apartment.
Officers were called to the Santa Fe Apartments in Tempe near Scottsdale Road and Weber Drive for a welfare check.
That's where they found the body of 45-year-old Priscilla Games.
During the investigation, detectives found out the residents had been without air conditioning since Sunday because of an equipment malfunction.
Police say the temperature inside Games' apartment was 113 degrees.
"Yes it's really hot in the apartment. The other night one of my friends had his door open because he couldn't even be in the apartment."
Tempe police say Games did have medical issues. They are waiting for a report from the medical examiner to determine her exact cause of death.
A GoFundMe account has been created to cover her funeral costs.
