Woman drives car into Tempe canal

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A woman had to be pulled from her car after accidentally driving into a canal in Tempe on Wednesday.

Tempe police say the woman was at a nearby car wash when she accidentally put the car into reverse and drove into the canal near Kyrene and Baseline Road.

She was safely pulled from the car once inside the canal.
