Woman ripped off after Adele ticket purchase

A Phoenix woman who scrimped and saved for months to buy an Adele concert ticket is now out of a lot of money, after it appears someone took advantage of her, and ripped her off.

The woman, Sydney Pauker, bought the "ticket" on Craigslist, and the Adele concert on Monday is a make up event, for a concert the singer missed a few months ago.

Pauker couldn't find any tickets on Ticketmaster, and it was too pricey to get the ticket from Stubhub. Pauker then saw an offer on Craigslist. The offer for two tickets was $250.

"He goes by 'larryk'," said Pauker. "But I don't know if that is his real name or not."

"larryk" claims to be from California. Pauker paid him via Google Wallet, and he promised to send the tickets, via e-mail.

"I think he took my money and is having fun with $250, and I don't get to go the Adele concert," said Pauker. "I had saved for awhile, and now I don't get to go see her."

The Arizona Attorney General's Office said it is not a good idea to buy concert tickets on Craigslist. Pauker, however, remains heartbroken.

"Horrible person," said Pauker. "How could somebody do that to someone? I had been saving for four months, working so hard to get that money, and now i don't get to go to the concert."
