Wrong-way driver linked to Anthem pursuit under arrest

PHOENIX (AP) -- Authorities say they've arrested a wrong-way driver believed have been involved in a vehicle pursuit near Anthem.

Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say 23-year-old Jason Dall has been booked into jail on suspicion of unlawful flight from law enforcement.
Sheriff's deputies received an alert about a driver going the wrong way on Interstate 17 just before 3:30 a.m. Friday.
The driver was reportedly heading northbound, while driving in the southbound lanes.
Sheriff's deputies began searching the area for the car and soon spotted the vehicle.
The vehicle's rear right tire was missing and the driver was driving on the rim at speeds of up to 65 mph.
Deputies initiated a traffic stop and a short pursuit followed before Dall was arrested.
It's unclear if he has a lawyer yet.
