TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- A wrong-way driver has been killed in an accident on Interstate 10 in Tucson.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials identified the victim as 25-year-old Brian Valenzuela of Tucson.

They say the car Valenzuela was driving about 1 a.m. Wednesday collided head-on with a tractor-trailer rig.

DPS officials say their investigation is continuing and impairment hasn't been ruled out as a factor.

They say the big rig's driver escaped injury.

Debris and spilled diesel fuel closed the eastbound lanes of I-10 until after 7 a.m.
