Yuma Police cancel Amber Alert, search for parents

Yuma Police say three children who were taken by their parents after they refused to turn the kids over to the Department of Child Safety have been found and are safe.

Police say the three children were found safe at their grandparents' home.

The parents, Evan and Amber Short, remain on the loose. They fled with their three kids, 2-year-old June Short, 11-year-old Aidian Short and 13-year-old Tristan Short, ignoring a court order to turn them over to DCS.

Evan and Amber Short were last seen driving a 2016 Dodge Ram with an Arizona license plate of F70038.

If you see them call 9-1-1 immediately or Yuma police at 928-783-4421.
