Bobby Jindal: Get rid of the Supreme Court?

First of all, who's Bobby Jindal? He's governor of Louisiana, a conservative Republican, and he's running for President.

He's a smart guy, (book-smart, anyway) who famously said after Mitt Romney lost in 2012 that "Republicans must stop being the stupid party."

Jindal meant the GOP has to stop alienating voters with clumsy and dumb comments, like how a raped woman can will herself into not getting pregnant. He called on his party to stop cozying up to big business and banks, stop being the party of the rich, stop trying to turn back the clock to the Good Old Days.

So now, we're seeing news reports with Jindal railing against the Supreme Court after it legalized same-sex marriage and suggesting "If we want to save some money, let's just get rid of the court."

Eliminate one of the three branches of the U.S. government? Really? Sure, Jindal's trying to carve out a little space in a crowded GOP field, but come on!

Looks like Bobby Jindal is wading back into the same swamp he wants everyone else to leave behind.
