Boy found wandering streets of Glendale

Police have found the family of a young boy who was found wandering a Glendale neighborhood all alone on early Saturday morning.

The boy was discovered near 51st Avenue and Grovers Avenue at about 5:30am on Saturday morning.  Phoenix Police are handling the incident, and they say the boy was wearing pajamas, but the toddler could not say where he lived.

The young boy was taken to the Cactus Park police station where officers worked with the Arizona Department of Child Safety, and began canvassing the area to find family members.  Meantime, as the boy's parents started their day, they realized the child was missing and called police, telling them the toddler tends to wander off.  The boy's parents were ultimately located, and officers say they had already taken steps to childproof their home, but they will be taking extra steps to keep their home safe.
