Boy in critical condition after drowning call

A 6-year-old boy has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition after medics responded to a drowning call in west Phoenix.

Phoenix Fire crews say they responded to a drowning call near 59th Avenue and Indian School.  When they arrived they found a 6-year-old boy who was receiving CPR after he was pulled from a pool.  The boy was put on advanced life support and rushed to a nearby hospital.  Crews are saying he was not responsive.

Crews say a backyard party was underway and the children were being gathered together for a swim, when somehow they realized the boy had fallen into the pool.
