Boy with incurable disease fulfills dream of visiting bottom of Grand Canyon

A valley boy with Duchenne disease had a dream of going to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Thanks to a special organization, the boy's wish became a reality.

Anthony Castle is 15-years-old. He was diagnosed with Duchenne disease, a form of muscular dystrophy that causes progressive muscle degeneration and weakness.

Daring Adventures heard about the boy's dream and made it possible for him to see inside one of the seven wonders of the world.

Several volunteers came out to help carry Anthony down into the canyon. In fact, there were so many volunteers, they had to take turns going in and out of the canyon helping him.

The experience was made into a movie and will be shown at Tempe Center for the Arts on Tuesday.
