Car slams into Valley business, then into nearby mobile home

A car crashed into a valley business early this morning, and then into a mobile home, knocking the trailer off its foundation.

A family of 10 was living inside that mobile home. Luckily, no one was injured in the crash, but as you can imagine, there's a lot of damage to both the business and the home.

"We're just getting the stuff out… the records, that kind of stuff. It destroyed everything, said Autobroker Charlie Holland.

Charlie Holland was up early Saturday, picking up what was left, after the car crashed through his auto broker business around 1:00 a.m.

"The whole office [is] destroyed," Holland said.

Police say the car lost control and careened off 27th Avenue near Missouri. The car then slammed into Holland's business, shoving it into a pink mobile home sitting behind it.

Investigators say the passenger of the vehicle that crashed was arrested; the driver later turned himself in.

Holland, who's been in the car business for 50 years says he has a lot of cleaning up to do before he figures out where he goes from here.

"I don't know what we're going to do, put another trailer there I guess," Holland says.

Tonight, the Red Cross is helping the family find a new place to stay.
