Father of aid worker killed by ISIS slams Obama administration for ransom policy

The father of Kayla Mueller, the humanitarian worker from Prescott killed while being held hostage by ISIS, is questioning the ransom policy of the United States.

Kayla's father, Carl Mueller, accused the Obama administration of putting its policy of not paying ransoms "in front of American lives."

In an interview, Mueller told NBC's Meet the Press, "We understand the policy about not paying ransom, but on the other hand, any parents out there would understand that you would want anything and everything done to bring your child home. And we tried. And we asked. But they put policy in front of American citizens' lives."
