GoDaddy pulls controversial Super Bowl ad

Just days before the valley hosts the big game. A big controversy involving a valley company and its Super Bowl advertisement.

Scottsdale based GoDaddy has made waves with its racy and sexy ads in the past, but this year its Super Bowl commercial has outraged animal lovers.

The company paid more than 4 1/2 million dollars for the ad and now they had to pull it because it features a little puppy. GoDaddy says it was meant to be funny, but dog lovers didn't think the commercial was funny at all.

GoDaddy heard the message loud and clear, and on Tuesday their CEO Blake Irving made a statement; "What should have been a fun and funny ad clearly missed the mark, and we will not air it."

No word on what GoDaddy will do with the 4 million dollar, 30 second spot they now have to fill.
