Hangover star's impersonator on the Las Vegas Strip

Talk about a crowd when Zack Galifinakis is spotted in costume from his hangover role as Alan on the Vegas Strip it causes a stir.

"You can't get anymore Las Vegas than the two of us standing right here, choking this chicken, in front of the Las Vegas sign," said Brian Petre.

It's not Zach, but it's Brian Petre who has an uncanny resemblance to Alan, earning a living on the Vegas strip.

"Vegas baby! It's never ending," he said.

He's such a ringer for Alan that when the Hangover cast was in Las Vegas shooting their last movie, they all took the time to say hello and marvel at the resemblence, even Galifinakis himself showed up.

So he looked in the mirror one day and what did he find?

"I found that either I should shave or start a business," said Petre.

And business is good. Bryan is a minister and performs Hangover weddings with his business partner who plays Stu right under the Las Vegas sign.

So how well does an Alan impersonator do in Vegas? A colleague of Brian, Thaddeus Kalinoski recently made headlines around the world in papers like The Daily Mail, when he claimed he made $250,000 a year with his Alan act.

"It's not accurate, I'm fairly certain the press has exaggerated a little bit on Thaddeus' income. He is a good friend of mine," he said.

Still, with trade shows, tips, and weddings, Alan impersonators stay busy.

The locals say since the 70's you would drive into town and there would be an Elvis impersonator under the sign, but not tonight, is Alan the new Elvis?

"This is the next generation of Elvis impersonator weddings for sure, this is what people are looking for, for fun. This is Las Vegas," said Petre.

The King is still around in Las Vegas, but he's all shook up, as Alan is increasingly moving in on his Sin City turf.
