Officer's Facebook Post About 'Michael Brown Bonus' To Be Investigated

FERGUSON, MO- A police officer in St. Louis has come under fire for an online post saying he was spending his 'Michael Brown Bonus' on a sweet vacation.
The Guardian reported that Officer Todd Bakula posted on Facebook that he took his wife to a bed and breakfast using money earned for staffing protests on the anniversary of Michael Brown's death.
County police officers worked overtime during the recent events marking the anniversary of the Mike Brown shooting in Ferguson, as did police in some other departments in the area.
County police spokesman Shawn McGuire said the department understands the post is 'controversial,' and would be investigated.
