The man can be seen kayaking down a waterfall surrounded by ice and snow.
It wasn't a kayaking trip for the faint of heart.
Spirit Falls is in the southern part of Washington state. There is a 30 foot drop into the beautiful blue waters below.
If that's not crazy enough, imagine making the plunge in the middle of winter.
One guy did just that and caught the amazing moment on camera.
"It was pretty darn cold. I think it was probably 20 degrees outside. So it was freezing and I remember just being out there in that kind of situation is super, super surreal. Nothing else that really compares to it. Everywhere that there's a big waterfall, all of the mist comes back up and creates these big ice formations on side of river," said Todd Wells.
As crazy as the picture looks, professional kayaker Todd Wells has done crazier.
He's gone down waterfalls with drops up to 100 feet.
"You know there's this incomparable feeling that you get when you're free falling...at the wind of the river it has the upper hand," said Wells.
What goes through your mind when you're about to drop off the edge?
"It's pretty cool experience, there's nothing else clouding your mind, there's no thoughts of anything else whatsoever. It's the one time that I'm completely focused on something," said Wells.
Wells travels all over the world to kayak, but spirit falls is still is favorite.
