Legends in Concert performing at Talking Stick Resort

A group of legendary performers are coming to the valley next week. They look and sound like Tina Turner, Michael Buble, even Barbara Streisand. The group is part of Legends in Concert and they are performing out at Talking Stick Resort.

The artist playing "Tina Turner" is so good she's actually recorded samples for the real Tina Turner. And the man who portrays Michael Buble is a valley native.

"I left a good job in the city working for the man every night and day," said Cookie Watson. If you didn't know better, you would think Watson is the real Tina Turner. She says the real Tina Turner did!

"When I walked in that dressing room to meet her she looked at me and just started laughing, and I'm like why is Tina Turner laughing at me, and she said 'oh my god you could be my little sister'," said Watson.

And how about this Michael Buble, aka Scott Keo? He learned he could double for the crooner when he tried it at a wedding.

"You've just got to watch over, and over, and over again. There's still things I haven't caught yet, you know I'll be watching a video from 5 years ago and I'll say oh, I didn't know he had that little tick right there, and I'll add that," said Scott Keo.

Both tribute artists are touring globally with the show Legends in Concert that's been going on for 31 years. Scott joined the show in 2013 and Cookie is a 19-year veteran.

"I can go to places that they don't even speak english, and they know the songs if I get the audience to say rollin, they holler rollin in whatever accent they can get out, they get it out," said Watkins.

"If it's just me being Michael that comes off a little hollow, a little robotic so the key is to do a lot of Michael and a little bit of Scott so that I can connect with the audience," said Keo.

Along with the songs you just heard Cookie will sings hits like "Disco Inferno," and "What's love got to do with it." Scott sings "I just haven't met you yet," and "Home," amongst others. Along with Tina and Buble, you'll also see tribute artists for Johnny Cash and Barbara Streisand.
