Live like 'The Flintstones' in home made of boulders

Have you ever wanted to live like The Flintstones?

Well, now you can! One of the most unique houses you'll probably ever see is up for sale in north Scottsdale.

Unique may be an understatement when you step inside this house.

It was built in 1982 by a family who hired a renowned architect. He had a vision for the house as soon as he saw the huge boulders on the land.

"He walked inside this grouping of rocks and said, 'You know, I think the rocks can be the house.' so he started thinking of a way and it was a brilliant way of engineering and making floors and pathways through this home and making it livable, and they started constructing the boulder house in about 1980," said Preston Westmoreland, a real estate agent.

Since then, it's garnered a lot of attention, it's even graced the cover of Architectural Digest.

The one of a kind house is on the market for a cool $4.2 million.

"You have a feeling of isolation here and it's very private and gated and you have your own little world that is just quite spectacular," said Westmoreland.

He says the 2,400 square foot house sits on nine acres with views of Whisper Rock Golf Course.

The new lucky owners will be sure to enjoy a true one-of-a-kind home that they can be sure nobody else in the world has.

"It's an absolutely extraordinary home," said Westmoreland.
