MCSO identifies teen who drowned at Lake Pleasant

Authorities say they found the body of a teenager who drowned at Lake Pleasant on Monday morning.
Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say Damien Serrahn was attempting to swim across an approximate 200 yard bay. He was about halfway across when he began to yell for help.

His friends thought he was joking and continued to swim across the bay, but when they reached the end and turned around, they didn't see him.

Two teens swam to the last place they saw him while a third teen called 911.

MCSO tried using sonar on a lake patrol boat, but it came up with nothing.

Finally, late Monday night, an underwater robot found Serrahn's body about 14 feet under water in the area he was last seen.
