In the video that's been viewed more than 2 million times, Kisa Jackson said that parents need to take ownership of their children's actions. She added that kids must follow protocol and respect officers.
Jackson was responding to the recent video which shows then-police officer Eric Casebolt pin a teen girl to the ground and then draw his weapon at a pool party in Texas. Casebolt has since resigned.
"Do I think that the incident was excessive? Yes. But do I think it was necessary? Yes. Parents need to take ownership [of] what their children are doing and hold them accountable for their actions, as well as the parents should be held accountable," Jackson said in the video.
