NASA records shortest lunar eclipse of the century

If you slept in this morning, you probably missed it. Early this morning was the shortest total lunar eclipse of the century.

These are images from NASA.

The lunar eclipse lasted just under five minutes and the moon turned red as it crossed the earth's shadow. This is often referred to as a blood moon.

It all happened around 4:58 am this morning.

If you were up snapping photos of the lunar eclipse, we would love to see your pictures. Post them on our Facebook page!
