Officer James Holmes with the Phoenix Police Department tells Fox 10 that detectives with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force conducted an extensive and exhaustive investigation to find the residence where the images were taken.
Once they found the home, the detectives successfully rescued a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old. Officers also found 26-year-old Roxanne Chapin in the home.
During an interview, Chapin admitted to molesting the two victims, taking photos of the abuse and creating child pornography, Holmes said. Chapin also admitted to distributing the images.
During a search of Chapin's home, detectives located additional images of the children being sexually victimized. Chapin was also in possession of images of other children being sexually abused, according to Holmes.
Chapin was subsequently charged with one count of child molestation, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
