The Grand Prix is coming to old town Scottsdale this fall.
If you want a taste of the brand new event, you're in luck this weekend.
Grand Prix racing took off in the 1920's in places like Monaco, but now Scottsdale is getting its own Grand Prix with miniature go-kart versions of the vintage vehicles. The cars are custom made at a Mesa location.
Anyone can race in the The Grand Prix of Scottsdale. You can even form a team of up to 10 people. There's a preview of the race this weekend at Scottsdale. Just bring a valid driver's license, and you can take one of those mini racers for a spin.
