Rain moves into the Phoenix-metro area

The rain nearly put a damper on several events going on in the valley, such as a car seat recycling event at Tempe Marketplace on Friday.

Workers were covered up in plastic and braved the rain, collecting old car seats to dismantle them so all the metal, plastic parts and material items can be recycled.

In Scottsdale, drivers made their way along the wet roads near Loop 101 and Hayden.

Dark skies covered much of the valley and some areas were hit hard, including Cave Creek, where the FOX 10 Arizona Morning crew was for their Zip Trip.

Expect rain over the next three days and we won't climb back into the 90s until Tuesday, but by next weekend, it looks like we'll be pushing 100°.
