The happiest place on earth just got more expensive

Starting today, it's going to cost you a little more to visit the happiest place on earth. Walt Disney is raising its prices at all US theme parks, just before the busy season.

For those over 10-years-old, a one-day ticket for Disneyland or California Adventure will now go for $99, which is a $3 uptick. And single-day tickets for Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida will now cost $105, a $6 increase.

Other theme parks in Florida, including Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, are also facing a three dollar price hike to $97. Meanwhile, for those younger than 10, it's not much cheaper.

A single-day ticket is $93 for Disneyland, $99 for the Magic Kingdom and $91 for other theme parks.
