You've probably noticed it around town, the prices at the pump have been rising over the past few weeks.
"We've seen prices spike over the past week or so, in fact, they've jumped in Arizona 8 cents over the past two days alone," said AAA spokesperson Linda Gorman.
But that could soon be changing. A side-effect of the proposed Iran Nuclear Deal could drastically lower prices at the pump.
"$2 gasoline could be within our sights, especially in states like Arizona where we're already sitting below $2.50 a gallon," said Gorman.
Gorman says we could see the lower prices gradually over the next few months, especially once we get past Labor Day.
"It certainly is a possibility, this would be the second time this year that projections have reached the two dollar mark," said Gorman.
Earlier this year the valley saw gas prices dip below the $2 mark for the first time in years, many people thought it was a one-time fluke.
"I like that gas price point because I travel a lot, so yeah I like it," said Cindy Leadens.
