California firefighters get the upper hand

NAPA Calif. - Evacuees who had to leave their Northern California homes because of two major wildfires are starting to breathe sighs of relief.

Because crews are making a log of progress on the flames burning North of San Francisco, especially with the Jerusalem fire that's scorched 24,000 acres in Napa and Lake counties in just the last two days.

And not far from those flames, firefighters almost have the Rocky fire contained. That fire has destroyed nearly 70,000 acres. It's now 96 percent contained.
