DC police honor seniors with Seasoned Citizens Ball

D.C. police celebrated several senior citizens who have been longtime supporters and safety advocates in their communities.

Officers in the Seventh District hosted its 2016 Seasoned Citizens ball at the PR Harris Education Center in Southeast D.C. Friday afternoon.

The seniors were treated to a free lunch and desserts as well as a DJ to show off their dance moves. Members of the police department, military personnel and other law enforcement agencies served as dance escorts for the seniors.
