The campaign is young and although Hillary Clinton is the odds-on favorite, we're already seeing some troubling trends in her bid for the White House.
Bernie Sanders is drawing huge crowds and accusing Clinton of not being a real liberal. Clinton insists she’s really the people’s champion and not a tool of Wall Street, but that rings hollow to many on the left.
And Hillary is turning off the media by coming across as a control freak who keeps reporters and photographers as far away as possible. In New Hampshire, members of the press were penned in behind a rope line while Hillary greeted supporters.
She rarely takes questions and when she does, it’s under highly controlled conditions. On the rare occasions Hillary interacts with the media, she invariably gives bland answers. She responds to the simplest questions with exquisite caution.
Mrs. Clinton recently was stumped when someone asked her favorite flavor of ice cream. “I like nearly all of them,” she replied.
Seems Hillary’s running not to lose. And that’s no way to win.
