Mail, packages destroyed after semi traveling from Twin Cities catches fire

A semi-truck carrying USPS mail and packages from the Twin Cities distribution center to Chicago caught fire while driving along I-94 near Hudson, Wisconsin on Tuesday morning.

USPS confirmed all of the mail on board was destroyed by the fire.

The truck may have also contained some first-class mail.

USPS said customers who think they may have had packages on the truck should track their items using USPS's website.
