Missing North Jersey teen found safe after 2-week search

Police say a 15-year-old from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, who was missing since Oct. 30 has been found safe.

Police did not release additional details where 15-year-old Thomas Kolding was found.

His dad spoke to FOX 29 last week pleading for his safe return. "I love you Thomas. I miss you. We all miss you, especially at night when it's quiet," said father Nicolai Kolding.

Officials confirmed Kolding took a train from Denville to Newark's Broad Street Station and then traveled by train to New York Penn Station. He was spotted in Camden, New Jersey, on Nov. 3 at the Walter Rand Train Station.

Multiple jurisdictions and agencies were involved in the investigation, including the New Jersey Transit Police Department, Amtrak Police Department, New Jersey State Police Department, Camden Police Department, Philadelphia Police Department, Delaware Port Authority Police Department, Miami Township, Ohio Police Department, as well as transportation agencies who assisted in the coordination of a multi-state search.
