Parents react to possible plan to cut bus service for some Dysart district students

Several parents of students attending Dysart Elementary School have learned that their kids may no longer be able to ride the bus.

The change may impact students who live within 1-2 miles of the school.

Currently, those students can ride the bus, but because of an evaluation of the transportation budget for 2015-2016, the district sent home letters at the end of the school year in May.

Parents took to social media, saying that the change is unsafe to children, many of them who will have to walk to school.

FOX 10's Jessica Flores spoke with the district and has this report.
