Phoenix family-in-need gets $1K during FOX 10 Knock Knock of Kindness

A new show debuts on FOX with host Ryan Seacrest. They knock live on doors and surprise folks with great prizes.

A Valley woman got a similar experience.

Cicely, a mother of three, is now $1,000 richer.

"I'm happy that I have help like this, and I thank the Lord for doing all this for me," said Cicely.

It was a community effort between the FOX Network and the Phoenix Police Angels on Patrol, and the show Knock Knock.

"We helped getting them stability with a new place to live, so that takes care of shelter, and then food, and clothing, and just basic needs, most of the time when these people are in crisis they're just looking for the basic needs," said Dee Griggs.

Cicely says the money will help pay her bills and care for her kids in the coming months.

Knock Knock Live with Ryan Seacrest airs on FOX 10 on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
